Why should MBAs learn digital marketing is an extremely common doubt that most MBAs have. And the fact is, it comes from misconceptions. The biggest of these misconceptions is that MBAs are supposed to lead and not run campaigns.

It’s the greatest myth. Here are the reasons why:

  1. Most MBAs later on realize that their job role requires them to be hands-on. They probably overestimated their value in the job market and thought they will be sky-dropped as managers and leaders.
  2. Even if you are sky-dropped as managers and leaders early on (attention top 5 B-school students), you need to have an hands-on experience of Digital Marketing to create strategies and coordinate with teams.

There would be students who are pursuing MBA in Digital Marketing. This is mostly not about them. Because they have chosen the Digital Marketing career already.
